A message from the Director
Welcome to our first E-news for 2010. The changes which are taking place in education and training are significant and I encourage you to read this E-news and to note any actions that may be required by you. In particular, I draw your attention to the new Guidelines for VET Providers and the changes in the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) essential standards. In line with our commitment to streamline processes where possible, the VRQA will be running a pilot next month for an online registration and course accreditation process – VRQA online. Providers of overseas education and training should note that applications for CRICOS re-registration for 2010 will closed on 16 April 2010. My best wishes for the year ahead. Lynn Glover |
